After graduation from Waseda University, she practiced at former Tokyo Shiroyama Sogo Law Office (now Blekemore Law Offices). She became a partner of Allbright in 1999. Now she is the legal advisor for many Japanese corporations listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, including Japanese banks, trade companies, electrical appliances manufactures, multinational companies, construction companies and etc. She was voted to be one of the top ten female lawyers in Shanghai in 2004.
